The role of the Board is to govern the activities of Leaders of Change – its vision, mission, values and beliefs. The Board fulfils its primary role by:
Overseeing the development of, and approving, Leaders of Change strategic plan
Supporting the delivery of the strategic plan by ensuring adequate resources to achieve objectives
Providing input into Leaders of Change annual budget and operating plan
Monitoring, and where necessary, improving Leaders of Change compliance with legal and regulatory requirements including external financial reporting
Making recommendations to Members the appointment and/or removal of and monitoring the performance and ongoing independence of the auditor of Leaders of Change
